Frozen Persian Koofteh Meatballs – Ready to Cook (2 Koofteh)

Ingredients: Lean ground beef, lentils, onions, rice, fresh herbs, walnuts (whole), and dried plums (whole)

These delicious koofteh are made with lean ground beef and a blend of fresh ingredients like yellow split, onions, rice, aromatic spices, herbs, and whole walnuts and dried plums placed inside the meatballs for an authentic, rich flavor. They are conveniently frozen and ready to cook, bringing Persian flavors straight to your kitchen.

✅ Weight: 600g (four koofteh)

Cooking Instructions:

1. Chop the onions and sauté them in oil.

2. Add turmeric, pepper, and one tablespoon of tomato paste to the onions and sauté briefly.

3. Add 1 liter of water to the mixture and bring to a boil.

4. Once the water boils, reduce the heat to medium and add the frozen koofteh meatballs directly from the freezer, ensuring they do not overlap.

5. Let the koofteh cook for the first 10 minutes on medium heat. Then, reduce the heat and let them simmer for 1 hour. It’s best to leave the pot partially covered.

6. Enjoy!
